RC 21802 & 21844 | 4/23/2014 | Gas Operations-Field Services: Case Concern the appropriate rate of overtime for a Gas Services Representative who was called into work prior to the beginning of his pre-arranged overtime assignment. Committee agrees to close grievance, consistent with RC-1064, RC-1499, PRC-2076, and PRC-2184, the 1.5x overtime rate was appropriate, as the start time was accelerated. |
RC 21984 | 12/18/2013 | The cancellation of a pre-arranged overtime assignment of a Lineman to monitor a Company generator as the Co. opted instead to use a 3rd party security guard. Agreed that the monitoring of generators is considered BU work, which should be performed by whether a Co. employee or a contractor as provided for in LA 09-41-PGE. Since this was pre-arranged assignment, any concerns over equitable distribution should be evaluated at the end of the year. |
LA 12-61 | 11/5/2012 | To pay employees (deployed to NY due to Hurricane Sandy) at the double time (2x) rate for POT scheduled on a non-workday and for work performed outside of normal work hours on a workday during this temporary assignment retroactive to their first day of deployment. P RC 21400 | 7/20/2012 | Companys use of a contract crew to perform EOT work. Agrees to close this case without adjustment with the understanding that the intent of LA 09-41 is to seriously consider T300 employees for emergency duty. |

LA 01-20 | 4/12/2001 | The 94-53 Comm. recommends to cancel LA 98-93 (system-wide POT Procedure for Gas Systems Mntce & Gas Sys. Ope.) effective 4/30/01, thereby mutually agreeing to waive the 60-day cancellation clause. P-RC 2203 | 2/15/2000 | No bypass occurred of an Auberry Electrician on a POT assignment. See also 208.16. |
P-RC 2190 | 10/28/1999 | No contractual violations occurred on POT assignment when a Troubleman performed switching at an unattended substation in the Wasco area bypassing a Sys. Ope. based on PRC 526 settlement (that switching is a common duty, but also outlined a priority of utilization of these various classifications: Troublemen, Roving Operators, Utility Operators and Relief Sys. Ope.). In addition, RSO would be utilized before Sys. Ope. in recognition that the duties of a Sys. Ope. do not lend themselves to allowing the Operators to leave their work stations. |

LA 87-216 | 10/26/1987 | OT resulting from unanticipated continuation of workday at Moss Landing and Morrow Bay Power Plants will be recorded as prearranged rather than emergency OT, to more equally distribute OT and to decrease employees' being prearranged on weekends. See 212.8. |
LA 87-33 | 2/20/1987 | Establishes local agreement at Geysers, with administrative procedures, for handling prearranged and emergency OT during special assignments. Includes definition of "special assignment." Superseded by LA R1-96-103. |
P-RC 1039 | 2/21/1986 | One-day disciplinary leave upheld for employees who failed to work prearranged mandatory OT.
