The city of Shasta Lake is seeking a Journeyman Lineman with at least one year working experience upon completion of a City and IBEW approved apprenticeship. $65.63 per hour, plus an excellent benefit package including CalPERS retirement (2% at age 60 PERS retirement plan “Classic” members or 2% at age 62 for new PERS retirement plan PEPRA members), 20 days paid time-off accrual allowance each year for first four years (increases with length of service), 10 days of sick leave accrual per year, and 11 paid holidays per year. The City pays a portion of the monthly premiums for health, dental, and vision benefits, The City also offers long and short term disability plans and a life insurance policy at no cost to employees.
