This Letter Agreement cancels LA 89-170. Effective the date of this Agreement, the “Written Test” will move to an electronically delivered exam with a new defensible cut score of 81%. This new cut score aligns with the testing industry best practice passing score established methodology. The adjustment of the cut score is reflective of an
update to the curriculum with the intent of improving the competency of the subsequent course participants. The
current practice for the “Skills Assessment” will remain unchanged.
