This position is responsible for fixing broken irrigation, installing new irrigation, and irrigation clocks, assisting in the management of a budget for irrigation, ordering parts for equipment and repair equipment, and working with vendors in the installation and troubleshooting of irrigation clocks .
This is a lead & technical journey level class in the Parks series. Incumbents are responsible for ensuring that District irrigation systems are properly maintained and operating at peak efficiency. Incumbents in this position contribute to the design, perform the installation, modification and maintenance of irrigation and sprinkler systems in parks and other properties owned and operated by the Greater Vallejo Recreation District.
