In Letter of Agreement 14-35, which established the Corrosion Line of Progression, the parties agreed to an ongoing
Corrosion Subcommittee to address the training and testing requirements for National Association of Corrosion
Engineers (NACE) CP2. The NACE CP2 certification is required for the Senior Corrosion Mechanic-NACE CP2 and
Lead Corrosion Mechanic classifications.
The parties recently met to discuss the Corrosion Subcommittee’s mutually agreed-upon methodology for the NACE
CP2 training and testing requirements. Based on these discussions, the parties have agreed to the following:
