Letter of Agreement 18-05 established the American Petroleum Institute 1169 (API 1169) and NACE International
Institute Coating Inspector Program Level 2 (NACE CIP2) requirements for the General Construction (GC) Line of
Progression (LOP) for ‘Inspection’. The additional requirements were in recognition of the importance of a highly
trained inspection workforce to perform gas transmission pipeline and distribution facility inspections.
In an effort to increase the Company’s internal inspection resources and pursuant to Section 304.4 of the Physical
Agreement, Company proposes to create a new classification, Pre-Utility Inspector (52727589). This classification
will be added to the GC Gas LOP, Section 600-13, Exhibit VI-M. The job definition is defined in Attachment 1 and
2021 wage rates and lines of progression chart are defined in Attachment 2. This agreement will be incorporated in
the next revision to the GC Gas Line of Progression for “Inspection”.
