The parties discussed the requirement, under Federal Regulations, that the classifications within the Paint (Insulation and Coatings), Line of Progression (LOP), be included in the Drug Free Pipeline Program (DOT covered). This was originally established in 1995 (LA-95-114). To enable the differentiation of Operator Qualification trainings assigned to the Working Foreman B (non-climbing), within the Paint LOP, the parties agreed to establish a new Working Foreman B (non-climbing) classification title and code that will replace the current working Foreman B (non-climbing) classification in the Paint LOP. The new classification will be Working Foreman B – I&C (non-climbing), SAP Code 52621301.
