After years of trying to keep up with the competitive renewable energy market, PG&E announced this week it’s withdrawing from a 20th century hydroelectric project in Butte County. “The landscape has changed in California and to the point to where this project is no longer economical to our customers,” said Paul Moreno, PG&E Spokesperson.
