All three peer initiatives continue to give presentations to various groups and are working to expand into visiting additional work groups. On June 8, Hold the Pull gave a peer presentation to seven Turlock Irrigation District line apprentices, and on June 24, Control the Pressure visited the PG&E Tracy Utility Workers Academy. On June 30, Keep the Clearance hosted the Tree Supervision Roundtable at which special guests from IBEW Local 17 gave a presentation on their tree trimmer JATC in Detroit, Michigan.
On July 18 and 25, KTC began a series of safety meetings at Trees Inc. yards in Stockton and Angels Camp. PG&E vegetation management is a regular participant at these meetings, providing breakfast for the trimmers and joining in supporting the safety message. To date, six such meetings have already taken place at Davey Tree yards and four additional meeting expected in the Bay Area in 2016.
