The full IBEW 1245 Bargaining Committee met today to plan out the next steps in the negotiating process.
The Committee created a schedule to consider all the issues, both economic and non-economic, that are on the table. They will be meeting three days a week for the entire month of July to discuss non-economic issues and a few minor economic issues, and will meet four days a week in the month of August to address the more substantial economic issues. The Committee will also be meeting in the near future to seek process improvements in the grievance procedure.
The Gas and Electric service crew/first responder crew ad-hoc committees will meet again starting immediately. If these committees reach agreements that contain any concessions whatsoever, IBEW 1245 will put them out to be voted on by the affected employees, as was the case with the 2015 letter agreements related to this same issues.
