A crew for Par Electric was installing shunts on a 230 kv transmission line between Madera and Chowchilla when IBEW 1245 Business Representative Richard Ingle came by and snapped this photo on April 22. Shunts, which increase the ampacity of the line, are put on the deadends, suspension shoes, and splices on the line.
