IBEW 1245 Organizing Stewards Pam Pendleton and Rodrigo Flores and staff organizers Fred Ross and Eileen Purcell joined 700 organizers in Washington DC at a national conference sponsored by the AFL-CIO’s Organizing Institute. The group took advantage of the opportunity to share details of Local 1245’s successful organizing steward program and its emphasis on intergenerational leadership development and “learning by doing.”
