The members of IFPTE-ESC local 20 who work at PG&E have voted in favor of ratifying a one-year contract extension. The final vote tally was 1090 to 87.
According to the ESC website, the extension includes
- A 2.75% general wage increase (GWI) effective January 1, 2015.  This GWI will apply to all ESC-represented employees, including the monthly-paid employees who have received 1% GWIs as part of the STIP transition in the current contract.  To be clear, all employees will receive a 2.75% increase.  STIP participation for 2015 will remain at 10% (15% for Principals).
- An agreement to bargain with the Company over possible changes to the medical plan that are required for compliance with the Affordable Care Act. Â These possible changes involve hiring hall employees only, and are a result of new requirements that mandate that PG&E offer a medical plan to a certain percentage of its employees.
