The California-Nevada JATC is offering a four-day NCCCO crane certifying course and written test in the month of June in three locations: Las Vegas, Vacaville and Riverside.

The JATC is also offering a crane recertification test on each of the dates listed above. There will be a two day refresher course on Wednesday and Thursday before the recertification test.
Please note that the NCCCO process is made up into two parts, a written test and a practical test. This NCCCO class will not teach you how to operate a crane. It is only to prepare you for the NCCCO written and practical test to obtain certification. The class is 4 days of interactive lecture with a large amount of self study on OSHA and ASME standards. The written test is given on the 5th day by an independent proctor.

There are only thirty spaces available for each crane class and all training and test costs are paid by the California-Nevada J.A.T.C. Class availability is based on first come first serve basis. You are not registered in the class until your completed application is received by our office and your spot is confirmed.
Any individuals signing up for class should have prior operating experience. The class is offered to apprentice lineman, journeyman lineman and operators working for I.B.E.W. Local 47, 396 and 1245 signatory contractors under the Outside Line Agreement. Please note: The class is offered only to those members who are currently working out of or is a member of I.B.E.W. Local 47, 396 and 1245. Priority is given to members of I.B.E.W. Local 47, 396 and 1245. Certain restrictions may apply.
