PG&E, union meet for mediated negotiations

Negotiators for Local 1245 and PG&E met on April 12 and 13 to resume contract bargaining. A federal mediator attended the negotiations.

PG&E came into the negotiations on April 12 with a proposal, and the union offered a counter-proposal that afternoon. On April 13 the company said it needed more time to consider the union’s counter-proposal.

Additional negotiations, with the federal mediator present, have been scheduled for April 17 and 20.
