An IBEW Local 1245 water crew in the City of Redding Maintenance Unit, with the thermometer hitting 100 degrees, worked into the late afternoon on Aug. 19 to make sure that water service was completed to a new home on Deodar Way in Redding. Considering the heat, gaining access to a cool drink of water was probably the best thing that happened to that customer all day. (Photos by Ray Thomas)
