PHYSICAL AND BENEFITS COMMITTEES BEGIN REVIEWING MEMBER PROPOSALS

PHYSICAL NEGOTIATIONS

The Local 1245 Physical Bargaining Committee spent the week of April 18 sorting all the proposals that were sent electronically and from unit meetings. Currently, 1646 proposals have been submitted and the Committee will continue to accept proposals through April 30.

The Committee next will begin the labor-intensive task of evaluating each proposal. The Committee will work for the next several weeks preparing proposals to be exchanged with the Company. That exchange is scheduled to take place on June 7, 2011.

We plan to issue a progress report each week for these negotiations.

BENEFITS NEGOTIATIONS

The Local 1245 Benefits Bargaining Committee received over 450 proposals as of April 18.  The Committee sorted and categorized proposals electronically. Proposals may be submitted through the end of April.

During the next several weeks proposals will be individually reviewed and prioritized to meet the goal of exchanging proposals with PG&E on June 7.
