Effective March 1, there will be a new testing requirement for all Hiring Hall IBEW Clerical Classifications. In addition to current requirements, the new requirement, Work Orientation Inventory (WOI), is a new pre-employment test that measures 4 important job performance dimensions: Safety Behaviors, Driving Behaviors, Customer Service and Teamwork.
All Hiring Hall IBEW Clerical employees, currently on assignment as of 3/1/11, will not be required to meet the new testing requirement. However, once the assignment has ended, you will need to meet the new testing requirement in order to be dispatched for a new IBEW Clerical assignment, unless you have previously held the same or higher classification in the Line of Progression on a regular basis at PG&E.
All Hiring Hall individuals dispatched on or after 3/1/11 for a Hiring Hall IBEW Clerical position will be required to meet the new testing requirement, unless you have previously held the same or higher classification in the Line of Progression on a regular basis at PG&E.
The PG&E Hiring Hall Administration team will begin contacting individuals in March to schedule a test session.
