Negotiators for IBEW Local 1245 and Pacific Gas & Electric on March 23 exchanged proposals during the first day of negotiations over medical benefits. Links to the full proposals are located on the IBEW Local 1245 home page.
The union committee noted that none of PG&E’s proposals addressed the crisis facing current retirees. On the other hand, the union proposals did not address the issue of medical benefits for current employees.
It is anticipated that the two sides will each respond to the other’s proposals as negotiations
progress.
