Casey Guinn, an IBEW 1245 Journeyman Lineman at Turlock Irrigation District, and his family are facing an unimaginable challenge after his 22-year-old daughter, Ashlynd, was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer.
Ashlynd is a vibrant young woman attending Arizona State University, where she is pursuing a degree in speech pathology. She dreams of helping young children find their voices, but her future has been interrupted by a rare form of soft tissue sarcoma.
As Ashlynd undergoes treatment, the Guinn family is facing mounting medical expenses, travel costs and time away from work.
A fundraiser has been established to help ease the financial burden so the family can focus on Ashlynd’s care. Any contribution, no matter the amount, can make a difference.
