Brothers and Sisters,
This Labor Day, I want to recognize and thank you, the IBEW 1245 members whose skill, dedication and hard work keep our communities powered and running every day.
Labor Day is a celebration of working people and everything we have achieved by standing together. The wages, benefits, safety protections and dignity we have on the job were won by generations of workers who came before us.
At a time when workers’ rights and hard-won protections continue to be challenged, we are reminded that progress is never guaranteed and it depends on working people standing together.
It’s an honor and privilege to stand and fight alongside you.
