Carlos Castanon reaches 50 years of dedicated service.
IBEW 1245 proudly congratulates Brother Carlos Castanon on reaching an extraordinary milestone — 50 years of dedicated service.
Carlos began his career in 1975 as a T300 Helper working in the materials warehouse. Over the next five decades, he built a career defined by hard work, commitment, and a willingness to take on new challenges. From the warehouse, he moved through the tool department and eventually into the Davis Service Center, where he continues to serve today in the fleet garage.
Currently working as a Services Working Foreman, Carlos has played a vital role in supporting field operations throughout his career. He has been responsible for the purchase, maintenance, and repair of millions of dollars’ worth of tools and equipment, helping ensure crews have the resources they need to safely and effectively perform their work. Through his knowledge, dedication, and stewardship, Carlos has also helped generate millions of dollars in savings over the years.
While his accomplishments are impressive, those who know Carlos often point to something else that stands out just as much — his attitude. After 50 years on the job, he continues to bring positivity, motivation, and a strong work ethic to those around him. His commitment to excellence and willingness to support his fellow employees have earned him the respect of coworkers throughout the organization.
Reaching 50 years of service is a remarkable achievement and a testament to Carlos’s dedication to his craft, his coworkers, and the utility industry.
Congratulations, Brother Castanon, on this incredible milestone. Thank you for your five decades of service, and we wish you continued success in the years ahead.
