IBEW 1245 is sponsoring SB 1330 to strengthen penalties for assaulting or battering utility workers while they are performing their duties, helping ensure the people who keep our communities powered and safe receive the same level of protection afforded to other frontline public servants.
Thanks to the advocacy of IBEW 1245 members, SB 1330 recently passed the California State Senate and now moves to the State Assembly for consideration. But the fight is far from over.
