IBEW 1245 is proud to congratulate member Austin Hilger who has officially completed his apprenticeship and reached journeyman status as a General Construction (GC) Lineman.
After years of training, classroom instruction, and hands-on work in the field, Hilger earned his journeyman classification through PG&E’s apprenticeship program. He is currently working out of Lakeport.
IBEW 1245 Business Representative Jen Threlfall presented Hilger with his journeyman backpack and joined the crew in celebrating the milestone.
Becoming a journeyman lineman marks the transition from apprentice to fully qualified lineworker, reflecting years of dedication, skill development, and commitment to the trade.
