IBEW Local 1245 is proud to recognize two members who have officially completed their apprenticeships and reached an important milestone in their careers as Journeyman Linemen: James Rowlett and Jordan Zander Souza.

After years of rigorous training, classroom instruction, and demanding work in the field, both members earned their journeyman status through PG&E’s apprenticeship program — an accomplishment that reflects their skill, dedication, and commitment to the trade.
Rowlett is now working as a Journeyman Lineman in San Luis Obispo, while Souza has stepped into his new role with the in Los Padres.
Clayton Smith, who has been covering the area as Business Representative, joined the crews in recognizing the achievement and celebrating this significant step in their union careers.
Becoming a journeyman marks the transition from apprentice to fully qualified lineman, a milestone that represents years of hard work and the trust placed in these members to safely perform some of the most demanding work in the industry.
