Contract Protections Remain in Place
Vacaville, CA — PG&E contract negotiations are underway as we work to secure the strongest possible agreement for our members.
Your bargaining team is working tirelessly, but more time is needed to complete negotiations.
On December 31, the current Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) expired, and Evergreen Status went into effect. This means all terms and conditions of the agreement — including wages, benefits, working conditions, and the no-layoff clause — remain in place. However, there was no General Wage Increase (GWI) on January 1, 2026.
Bargaining will continue until a Tentative Agreement is reached. That agreement will then be sent to the membership for a ratification vote. The Tentative Agreement will include General Wage Increases for each year of the new CBA. Any potential retroactive wage adjustment (from January 1, 2026, through the date a new agreement is signed) must be negotiated and agreed to by both parties.
Once a Tentative Agreement is reached, IBEW 1245 will provide full details of the proposal and mail a ballot to each PG&E member’s home address.
It is important that your mailing address is current with PG&E. Members can update their address by logging into the PG&E’s employee portal.
We will continue providing updates to IBEW 1245 Shop Stewards during regular calls and will post information at www.ibew1245.com.
If you have questions, please speak with your Shop Steward, a member of the bargaining team, or your Business Representative.
