This year’s 2nd Annual IBEW 1245 Golf Tournament in Sparks, Nevada was an incredible success, bringing together our members for a day filled with camaraderie, competition, and plenty of fun.
The turnout from our brothers and sisters was outstanding, showing once again the strength of our union community both on and off the job.

We also had tremendous participation from our sponsors, whose generosity helped make the event possible. Their continued support not only adds excitement to the tournament but also reinforces the importance of strong partnerships within our community. From raffle prizes to hole sponsorships, every contribution played a role in the day’s success.
A special highlight was the LPGA “Closest to the Hole” challenge with Emilee Hammond, which brought extra energy to the course and gave members a chance to test their skills against a professional standard. The excitement around that hole was a reminder of how special it is to blend competition with union brotherhood and sisterhood.

As the last putts dropped and the prizes were awarded, one thing was clear: this tournament was about more than just golf—it was about strengthening the bonds that unite us. While we’re still enjoying the memories from this year’s event, next year’s tournament is already just around the corner. With the momentum we’ve built, we’re looking forward to an even bigger and better day together on the course.
