Shannan Velayas has joined IBEW 1245 as our new Communications Manager. In this role, she’ll be working on the Utility Reporter, social media, our website, and other communications efforts to help tell the story of IBEW 1245 and its members.
“I am honored to join IBEW 1245 to help amplify the voices of the hardworking men and women who power our communities,” said Velayas. “I look forward to working alongside our members and staff to help share their stories, values and contributions.”
Velayas brings many years of experience in communications, including serving as Press Secretary and spokesperson for several California state legislators and public sector organizations.
