Congratulations to IBEW 1245-member, Joseph Mesa, who won honorable mention in the 2025 International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers national photo contest!
A Welder 2A at Trayer Manufacturing, Brother Mesa has been an active member of IBEW 1245 for three years. His winning photograph features IBEW 1245 member Shaun Baradi, an Electrical Technician 2 at work. Brother Baradi has been a member of IBEW 1245 for five years and has served on the Trayer negotiation’s committee.
Reflecting on the picture his co-worker captured, Baradi said, “Focused and determined, I’m seen here carefully installing small switches onto a switch frame, making sure every detail is just right. Wearing my Trayer Switchgear cap and safety glasses, I’m deep in my craft—one precise motion at a time. Tools, diagrams, and my hard-earned skills surround me at the workbench. This photo isn’t just about building gear—it’s proof of the journey. I made it, Mama. From dreams to reality, right here with my hands.”
