After ten years serving as an IBEW 1245 Business Representative and Assistant Business Manager, Ralph Kenyon is retiring.
Initiated as a journeyman lineman in January 1990, Brother Kenyon announced his retirement in mid-April 2025. In his most recent assignment, he led the group of Outside Line Business Representatives, serving upwards of 4,000 members.
IBEW 1245 Business Manager Bob Dean thanked Kenyon for his years of dedicated service, both as a longstanding union member and as a staff member. “Ralph has been instrumental in helping us grow IBEW 1245, especially in our Outside Line side of the house,” said Dean. “He brought his thirty-five years of experience as a journeyman lineman to bear, representing and growing our membership with integrity, building our Hiring Hall and Dispatch, and making IBEW 1245 the union it is today. He has been unwavering in his commitment to do whatever is necessary to get the job done.”
Senior Assistant Business Manager Ralph Armstrong added, “Ralph has been a steady hand, a trusted leader, and a true asset to this union. His work ethic, knowledge, and support for our members have made a lasting impact. We thank him sincerely for his contributions and wish him nothing but the best.”
Best wishes to you, Ralph, as you pursue the next chapter!
