Sacramento – On February 12 and 13, 2025, IBEW 1245’s Control the Pressure (CTP) committee members attended the GC Traffic and Spoils Safety Summit at the Cal Expo in Sacramento. Representing CTP were committee members Nilda Holguin, Lamont Presley and Kevin Foster.
More than 700 IBEW Union brothers and sisters attended the Safety Summit.
CTP had a booth for both days, allowing CTP to interact with union members and discuss safety issues and concerns and sign-up members as possible future IBEW safety stewards. As an essential part of our message, CTP promoted the “speak up safety culture” among the union members.
IBEW 1245 Assistant Business Manager Michael Adayan, Business Representative Fred Aboud, Business Representative Gerald Williams, and IBEW 1245 Safety Director Jody Castro also presented at the event.
The Safety Summit was successful, granting us the opportunity to spread the CTP Peer to Peer safety message to a large number of union brothers and sisters.
