IBEW 1245, in collaboration with the Machinists, Carpenters, and Teamsters, secured a six-year contract for the union members working at Northrop Grumman.
The MOU includes annual wage increases of 5%, 4%, 4%, 4%, 4%, and 5%, as well as a bigger boot allowance, a new attendance bonus, and no changes to health benefits. For the electricians, we negotiated the creation of a new job code, E16, which pays $64.54 an hour (all the current E15s making $58.93 will move up to E16 as of September 1). Additionally, we negotiated an MOU for a wage review for all IBEW classifications, including testers, fabricators, and electrical assemblers.
