Keith began his life journey on July 2, 1941, in Minnesota. He was born to Virgene and Sigurd Sondersen After a few years, his mother moved him and his siblings to the Bay Area in CA where he resided most if his life. He lived to be 83 and was loved by all. Once Keith arrived in the Bay Area, Richmond was home. He lived there until he joined the NAVY where he served four years of active duty receiving an honorable discharge. He returned to the Richmond/San Pablo area after the service. A short time later, he met his first wife, Sharon, then found his lifelong career with PG&E where he joined IBEW 1245 and dedicated his services for around 55 years.
He was blessed with three sons — Kevin, Brian and Marc Sondersen.
Keith purchased a home in Pinole where he had a swimming pool installed. He opened his home to all his family and friends where many memories were made through parties and celebrations. Anyone who knew Keith probably remembers a party at his house.
Keith was also one of the most giving people regularly helping family and friends with a place to stay, financial help, or even just a friend to talk to and share a beer with. He very much enjoyed house projects and the occasional camping trip as well and trying to strike it rich at the local casinos. He was also known as a ladies’ man and would be the best smelling, best dressed and most well-groomed man in a room when he was out and about or even spending time with family.
He will be greeted with open arms in Heaven by his preceded family members. Kevin Sondersen, his son, his mother Virgene Rudd and two sisters, Linda Hill and Karen Snow. He leaves behind his son Brian Sondersen, son Marc Sondersen and daughter in law Krista Kohlberg as well as his sister Sharon Howard, many nieces and nephews and godchildren.
There are very few people like Keith and everyone who knew him will miss him.
