Steve Lange joined the IBEW 1245 staff as a Business Rep this summer. Lange will be working with IBEW 1245 members at PG&E in the North Valley area (Title 200 and 300).

For 21 years to the day, Lange worked for PG&E GC Gas out of Chico. A dedicated union activist and leader, Lange has served 1245 as a shop steward, safety steward, Advisory Council member, Executive Board member, and Control the Pressure Peer Safety Committee member. He’s represented 1245 on miscellaneous Ad-Hoc committees, on the Negotiating Committee, and as a delegate to the Inter-Union Gas Conference.
He prides himself on his expansive experience within the union, and is excited to embark on this challenging new role as a 1245 Business Rep.
“This is the next chapter in working for ‘The Greater Good,'” he said. “I thoroughly enjoy helping and teaching people, especially our members. This is a great union, and I am extremely excited to be where I am. 1245 is recognized wherever I go, and I am proud to be a member.”
Lange is happily married with three kids (one of whom is a 1245 member), and six grandkids.
