Saturday June 8 was an extremely successful day for the two 1245 teams that traveled down to Carlsbad to compete in the 21st annual SDG&E lineman rodeo.
Both teams were on the podium regularly to accept awards for individual events. A total of 9 trophies came back home to Northern California.
The team of Steve Bentley, Joe Rogers, and Daniel Lofstrand walked away with an overall 3rd place of all journeyman teams competing.
First place overall went to the 1245 team of Floppy Hunt, David Angove and Local 47 member, Brandon Gloria.
Both teams will be looking to replicate their performances this coming October in Kansas City.
