IBEW 1245 is pleased to sponsor four non-PG&E teams, two non-PG&E apprentices, one PG&E team and one PG&E apprentice for the 2022 International Lineman Rodeo in Kansas City. View the details here.

Qualifying apprentices from any IBEW 1245 employer (including Outside Line contractors) are encouraged to apply.  Qualified teams and apprentices will be selected on a first-come-first basis.

All IBEW Local 1245 Journeyman Linemen (non-PG&E) who are members in good standing are eligible to apply. All IBEW Local 1245 Apprentice Linemen (non-PG&E) who have completed one full year of apprenticeship and are members in good standing are eligible to apply.

The non-PG&E teams and apprentices will be selected on a first-come-first-serve basis using our online application process utilized in the past. The PG&E teams and apprentices were determined by the results/rankings at the PG&E/IBEW 1245 West Coast Lineman’s Rodeo.  Read more here.

Participants will travel to Kansas City early on October 12 and return early on October 16. The union will provide shirts, travel, lodging, meals and time-off from work.
