IBEW International announced in early May that the convention will be postponed until 2022. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and acting pursuant to the newly amended Article XXVII of the IBEW Constitution, the International Executive Council, in consultation with International Secretary-Treasurer Kenneth W. Cooper and International President Lonnie Stephenson, adopted a resolution making temporary changes to the IBEW Constitution to enable the International Convention to be moved to May 9, 2022.
