IBEW 1245 lost member Patricia Del Valle-Helton on April 8, 2021 after a courageous battle with cancer. She has been a member since 2016 and was a Service Rep in the Billing Department at Stockton Regional Office. Patricia was a huge fan of the Raiders and is survived by her husband Nathaniel and her two sons Dominick and Nathaniel Jr. Her older son is a U.S. Marine, and her younger son is in second grade.
“When Patricia worked in Stockton CCO, as a new hire, I was her supervisor for her first year. The patience, kindness and care that she showed to her customers and her peers was noticed by everyone that had the pleasure of interacting with her. She was truly grateful for the opportunity to be with PG&E and she strived to do better each day,” wrote Tanisha Castle. “We quickly became friends beyond our work environment, and still kept in touch after she on to Sacramento CCO. I was thrilled that she made it back the Stockton office recently. We had wonderful talks every time we spoke, and were even able to share some Raiders tailgating experiences! She loved her husband and children beyond measure, and it showed in the way she spoke of them, and shared their pictures and stories. She endured her battle with cancer twice, and both times she fought with everything she had. She will certainly be missed by every single person that she touched.”
“When I first met Patricia, it was almost 5 years ago sitting in a new hire training class. What I found out right away, is how easy it was to talk to her. Over the years, I have built a friendship with this incredible person and have shared many heartfelt conversations,” wrote co-worker Amanda Hernandez. “No matter what Patricia was facing with her health, she would still check in on others to make sure they were doing OK. I admire Patricia’s bravery and fight, she has taught me so much about loving life and I’ll always remember her beautiful smile that would light up a room.”
Her family would like to extend the following invitation to all for her services: St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Oakdale [1225 Olive St, Oakdale, CA 95361] on April 24th at 1pm. Face masks are required inside the church. Celebration Of Life following Mass.
