35-year IBEW 1245 member Kim Wood passed away on July 27th. She will be greatly missed, and we would like to extend our prayers and thoughts to Kim’s family.
Kim was a kind, giving, blissful and supportive person with an incredible smile. She was a ray of sunshine, not only to her co-workers, but to all her customers as well. She cared for those around her and looked forward to seeing her regular customers each month. She was a light to many and worked hard at making someone’s day better and brighter. Those that knew Kim will forever be positively touched by Kim’s presence.
Kim was a loving mother and grandmother, and she leaves behind both parents, a brother and sister-in-law, a niece and nephew, her son, Michael, his wife, Kassie, and one granddaughter, Harlow. For those who would like to help alleviate some of the family’s financial burden caused by this tragedy, there are two ways to donate:
PG&E employees can contribute vacation time to help support Kim’s family during this very difficult time. Please find the Vacation Sale instructions here. This portal will be open until September 11, 2020.
Alternatively, a GoFundMe account has also been set up, if you are interested in donating that way, you may use the link below.
