A well-deserved congrats to the winner of the IBEW 1245 quarterly photo contest, Nick Rains of Liberty Energy. The winning photo, taken during a severe winter storm in the Sierras, presents a compelling and accurate depiction of our members at work.
Brother Rains, a 10-year member of IBEW, received his $500 prize on July 21, 2017 at the Service Awards in Reno. His winning photo was also displayed for all to appreciate at the quarterly Advisory Council meeting the following day.
The union is currently accepting entries for next quarter’s photo contest! All current Local 1245 members are eligible to enter. Submit high-resolution photos to RGB1@ibew1245.com no later than October 1, 2017. Limit five photo entries per member, per quarter.
