IBEW Local 1245 is once again sponsoring journeyman teams and apprentices to travel to Kansas for the 34th Annual International Lineman’s Rodeo and Expo, Oct. 11-14, 2017.
All IBEW Local 1245 Journeyman Linemen (Non-PG&E) who are members in good standing are eligible to apply. All IBEW Local 1245 Apprentice Linemen (non-PG&E) who have completed one full year of apprenticeship and are members in good standing are eligible to apply. (Participants from PG&E will be determined at the upcoming local rodeo in Livermore).
Local 1245 will send up to five (5) journeyman teams and eight (8) apprentices. Qualifying apprentices from IBEW 1245 employers, including Outside Line contractors, are encouraged to apply.
UPDATE: Registration is now closed.
Participants will travel to Kansas City early on October 11 and return early on October 15. The union will provide shirts, travel, lodging (shared rooms for apprentices), meals and time-off from work.
