On Saturday, October 22, IBEW 1245 members, staff and retirees were joined by more than 300 volunteers from many different union and labor organizations to get out the vote for U.S. Senate candidate Catherine Cortez Masto and NO on Question 3. Many of the volunteers travelled hundreds of miles to join the effort.
“We knocked on 4227 doors and had 1529 conversations,” reported Local 1245 retiree Rita Weisshaar, who helped to coordinate the precinct walk. “It was a great to see all the 1245 walkers and it was a great weekend overall!”
