This is a summary of the annual report of the IBEW Local 1245 Injured Workers Fund, EIN 35-2308172, Plan No 501, for the period beginning October 1, 2014 and ending September 30, 2015.
SELF-FUNDED BENEFIT INFORMATION
The Trust maintains its disability and death benefits under a self-funded program.
BASIC FINANCIAL STATEMENT
The value of Trust assets, after subtracting liabilities of the Trust, was $834,530 as of September 30, 2015, compared to $733,456 as of October 1, 2014. During the Trust year the Trust experienced an increase in its net assets of $101,074.
During the Trust year the Trust had total income of $147,737. This income included employee contributions of $143,592 and other income of $4,145.
Trust expenses were $46,663. These expenses included $13,663 in operating expenses and $33,000 in benefits paid directly to participants and beneficiaries.
