UPDATE: With the advice and consent of the International, we have permission to nominate Executive Board members/officers/Business Manager at all unit meetings this election cycle. It appears that many members did not read the bylaws and/or did not understand that the nomination process had changed in 2015. For this election only, nominations for Executive Board members/officers and Business Manager may be made at any and all unit meetings in March, as well as at the general membership meeting.
f you have a question about the union election, please contact Election Judge Kevin Krummes at 707 452 2779 or elections@ibew1245.com.
In the coming months, we will have nominations and elections for all elected leadership positions within the union. The rules for the nominations and elections are found in our bylaws, which were modified by the IBEW International Office and updated in January of 2015, and have been posted online since then.
The schedule of our unit meetings may be found here.
Unit Officers
Nominations and elections take place in our June unit meetings. Units which do not meet in the month of June may elect their unit officers at their first unit meeting after June.
