Distribution utilities will no longer think of themselves as “simply the wires company” and instead view their role as a “super integrator” once New York State’s “Reforming the Energy Vision” plan to reform the state’s power market is implemented, said Audrey Zibelman, chair of the New York Public Service Commission, on Nov. 13.
