IBEW 1245 is rapidly gearing up for this spring’s Clay Shoots in Dunnigan and Hilmar, CA.
On Jan. 14 IBEW staff members Ron Cochran, Ralph Armstrong, Bob Dean and Richard Ingle traveled to Jackson, CA to pick up more shot shells for the shooting events, which will be held simultaneously at the two locations on April 5.
“We used three half-ton pickups to move close to 3,000 pounds of shot-shells,” said Cochran.
Dan Broadwater, business manager of IBEW 180, is storing the shells. He was on hand Jan. 14 to help unload the pickups, along with IBEW 180 President Stan Nelson.
The unions now have 39,500 shot-shells for this year’s shoots, of which 30,000 are 12 GA and 9,500 are 20 GA.
