It’s hard to miss when you step into the front lobby of Weakley Hall in Vacaville: the panoramic photo of a young lineman ascending a pole, with the East Bay hills spread out behind him.
Nearly every day, someone asks the receptionist: Who is that guy, anyway?
And now, the mystery has been solved. On Oct. 25, at the invitation of Business Manager Tom Dalzell, the lineman strode into the fall meeting of the Advisory Council and introduced himself.
He is 36-year-old PG&E General Construction Lineman Cisco Schaaf, an IBEW member since 2006. He was joined at the Advisory Council meeting by his sons Tycho, age 3, and Drake, age 5.
Thanks, Cisco, for keeping watch over our front lobby … and for helping keep the lights on in California.
