The IBEW 1245 Executive Board on Oct. 25 approved the addition of Roger Stalcup to the union’s Memorial Wall.
Business Manager Tom Dalzell paid tribute to Stalcup, who died Oct. 10, at the beginning of the Advisory Council meeting on Oct. 26.
“I mourn his loss, but boy do I celebrate his life,” said Dalzell. “His work touched tens of thousands of people. Roger will live on.”

Executive Board members on Oct. 25 unanimously approved the addition of two other names to the Memorial Wall: Ed Mallory, former IBEW 1245 president; and John Martinez, former IBEW 1245 shop steward.
The Memorial Wall, located at the front entrance of Weakley Hall in Vacaville, is the local union’s way of paying respect to deceased IBEW 1245 members for their outstanding service to the union during their lifetime.
The union salutes and will long remember these union brothers.
