IBEW Local 1245 is recruiting member support for a day of action on Sept. 5 to protest Walmart’s unfair labor practices.
On that day, supporters of the OUR Walmart campaign will meet at the Powell Street BART station in San Francisco at 5 pm and march to the Four Seasons Hotel, where Marissa Mayer, CEO at Yahoo and Walmart board member, resides.
The San Francisco action is just one of many actions slated for Sept. 5 to protest Walmart’s treatment of its employees.
