THAT HELPED DEFEND WORKERS IN OHIO

“The 99% is pushing back.”

That’s how Ohio Senator Sherrod Brown described the results of the Nov. 8 election in Ohio, where voters voted overwhelmingly to reject the anti-union agenda of Republican Gov. John Kasich.

Local 1245 members were in the thick of the fight. Jammi Angeles, Donchele Soper , Jennifer Gray, Ean Charles and Rick Thompson spent three weeks in that battleground state, going door-to-door to defend working people and their unions.

“Voters had a choice. Do they want workers to have a voice? Do they want unions? The choice couldn’t have been clearer. The answer couldn’t have been clearer,” Senator Brown said.
